People’s duo top yearend opinion poll

A YEAREND opinion poll shows that while the majority of respondents hoped for a good prime minister and a government in 2026, most of them also chose People’s former MP Rukchanok Srinork and this camp’s leader Natthapong Ruengpanyawut as the best of five most popular politicians in 2025, PPTVHD36 said.

The Suan Dusit Poll conducted its “Best of the Year” survey for the 28th year in a row covering political, economic and social spheres with 10,218 people from all walks of life nationwide questioned both online and in field surveys during Dec. 15-26, 2025.

Dr. Pornpan Buathong, chair of Suan Dusit Poll, said that the results of the yearend opinion poll showed that Thai society is facing both loss and uncertainty. The major events of the year have impacted national sentiment and stability but at the same time individuals in the entertainment industry have served as a positive force, helping to maintain happiness and hope in the society.

Whether the expectation of a “good prime minister and government” next year will actually materialise ultimately depends on the people’s decision.
