Klatham now has four MPs skipping over from one-MP camps

By Thai Newsroom Reporters

THE KLATHAM LED BY Agriculture & Cooperatives Minister Narumon Pinyosinwat now has four MPs under the splinter party’s command.

The Klatham earlier had no MPs until those elected lawmakers had skipped over from their previous camps to Narumon’s party.

The four newly-registered Klatham MPs have recently defected from the four splinter parties each of which only had had one MP, namely the Palang Sungkhom Mai, New Party, Thai Local Power and Thai Teachers For People.

Narumon has been viewed as more or less personally associated with Palang Pracharath leader Prawit Wongsuwan and former Palang Pracharath secretary-general Thammanat Prompao.

Prawit and Thammanat had been at odds with each other with the former having been kicked out of the Pheu Thai-led coalition and the latter having turned coat in support of de facto Pheu Thai boss Thaksin Shinawatra.

The Klatham’s woman leader who had been previously named Thailand Trade Representative is not performing as MP in concurrent fashion.
