A GAS-FILLING factory in Suphan Buri exploded at 2 p.m. today (July 11) with many employees trapped within as fire continued to rage, TV Channel 7 and Amarin TV said.
Police have cordoned off the area near the factory in Derm Bang Nang Buat district while rescuers have arrived to help the victims as firemen are still trying to control the blaze.
Initially it was reported that one person died after being engulfed in flames while another injured person has been rescued but there are still many workers trapped within the plant and their fate is not yet known.
Police have moved a big team in to help the victims but hope the situation doesn’t worsen.
