Ms. Thamonwan, 35, who is a nurse and was driving the Honda sedan to work, said the white Chevrolet sedan was in front with a paddy wagon in the middle and herself behind them. The Chevrolet driver suddenly swung across the lane and hit the ten-wheel truck coming from the opposite direction hard. The truck then turned and hit both the paddy wagon and her car.
Mr. Sombat, 54, the ten-wheel truck driver, said he was driving his empty vehicle home when the white Chevrolet sedan suddenly cut across and slammed hard at the side. He tried but failed to dodge and the force of the collision led to his vehicle hitting the paddy wagon and the sedan following behind.
