Inflatable boats seen on Pattaya’s roads after torrential rain

AFTER several hours of heavy downpour today (Aug. 27) some Pattaya roads were so badly flooded that cars and motorcycles could not pass leading to a few residents bringing out their inflatable boats to cruise through them, Sanook.com said.

Worst hit were Pattaya 3rd road and Wat Tham Samakkhi alley where the flooding was 50 centimetres high with this stopping the traffic flow for a while.

Some Thais and foreigners brought out their inflatable boats and cruised along the flooded roads as if they were a river.

This led to those stranded in their cars and on their motorcycles cheering them on as they waited for the floods to recede.
