Huge traffic jams after multi-vehicle pileup on Theparak road

HEAVY traffic congestion lasted for hours on Samut Prakan province’s Theparak road after a multi-vehicle pileup late afternoon today (June 25), Sanook.com said.

According to a Muang Prakan V2 news page report, several vehicles collided in the big pileup near Big C shopping centre on this road heading towards Bang Phli district at 3.55 p.m.

A photo published shows a truck at the end of the pileup with the force of the collision being so strong that a taxi with the licence plate 1MorKor4757 had pushed through a delivery van with its rear climbing on top.

Police quickly came to sort out this pileup accident but even at 6 p.m. traffic on this road was still badly congested.

However this news page did not mention whether anyone had got injured in the bad collision.

It was also found that some netizens have jotted down the taxi licence plate number which they think could bring them luck in the next government lottery draw on July 1.
