THONGLOR police raided an entertainment venue in soi 7 last night and arrested 31 party-goers who were drinking and listening to loud music on the charges of violating Covid-19 restrictions, Sanook.com said this afternoon (June 12).
The group of revellers, 18 men and 13 women, were charged with gathering together and engaging in activities that risk the spread of disease and were taken for questioning by police inspectors for further legal action.
Police were able to identify the pub owner who is being prosecuted for violating Bangkok Metropolitan Administration announcements and other related laws.
Metropolitan Police warned the public that although the country is currently going through a coronavirus crisis their officers continue to strongly fight crime. Those with information about wrongdoing are urged to call the police hotline 191 or contact the local police station.
