THE Free Youth group’s webpage announced today (March 21) that the REDEM group (Restart Democracy ) is holding rallies at Ladprao, Victory Monument and Bang Na stations from 6 p.m. this evening.
The post added that there are other demonstrations also underway with the Through the Sky protesters having settled in an area beside Government House. Another one is taking place at the parking lot of the gymnasium next to Khon Kaen University.
At the same time there is a discussion on the constitution at the October 14 Memorial in Bangkok from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Meanwhile among those who were injured when police fired tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters at Sanam Luang yesterday were two journalists, Sanook.com said.
One of them is a reporter from TV Channel 8 who was hit by a rubber bullet at the right temple. She has been admitted to the ICU after a CT scan showed a white lump next to the spot where the rubber bullet hit. However she was conscious and is able to respond and talk.
A male reporter from Prachatai was also hit in the back with a rubber bullet.
