Gunman kills three at Radio Thailand station

A LONE GUNMAN killed three of his own colleagues at a Radio Thailand station in Phitsanulok province today (27.5.2020), police said.

The gunman, identified as Wim Sonsud, armed himself with two handguns and fired gunshots at his unsuspecting victims in the premises of the radio station run by the Public Relations Department.

The deceased included the head of the radio station, identified as Sanit Butmangkul, and two of the gunman’s colleagues. Another colleague of the gunman was injured by a gunshot.

Wim, who has worked as a technician at the radio station, was said to have spared a few women at the scene where he waited for the police to arrest him.

Police probe is expected to find the motives of the gunman, believed to have had a personal conflict with his victims.
