PRIME MINISTER Anutin Charnvirakul and his delegation have arrived in South Korean for the 32nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) Economic Leaders’ meeting and related events where he will get an opportunity to hold informal talks with leaders from various countries and boost confidence of the global community in Thailand’s economic potential, Amarin TV said.

At a special dinner in honour of US President Donald Trump and Apec economic leaders hosted by South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, Anutin will get an opportunity to meet informally with leaders from various countries.
The Prime Minister will strive to boost the confidence of the global community in Thailand’s economic potential. Session I (Oct. 31) is on the topic “Towards a More Connected, Resilient Region and Beyond.” Thailand will emphasise promotion of economic, trade, investment, and supply chain connectivity, as well as public-private sector cooperation, to tackle global challenges. Session II (Nov. 1) is on the topic: “Preparing a Future–Ready Asia–Pacific.” Thailand will put forward regional preparation for the future through the application of AI technology, innovation, and promotion of inclusive and sustainable growth.
Aside from the 32nd Apec Economic Leaders’ Meeting, Anutin will also attend the following meetings:
– 2025 Apec CEO Summit, where he will deliver a keynote speech on “Bridge. Business. Beyond”;
– Abac Dialogue with Apec Economic Leaders, to exchange views and promote cooperation in trade and investment, innovation, and sustainable development;
– US – Apec Business Coalition;
– Bilateral meetings with leaders of Apec economies and key private sectors, as well as Apec Economic Leaders’ Gala Dinner, to reinforce friendship with Apec leaders and representatives of key private sectors and enhance Thailand’s image at the international stage.
Five outcome documents are expected to be adopted at the meeting, namely, 1) 32nd Apec Leaders’ Gyeongju Declaration, 2) Apec AI Initiative, 3) Cooperation Framework on Regional Demographic Transition, 4) Leaders’ Statement on Cultural and Creative Industry Cooperation, and 5) 36th Apec Joint Ministerial Statement.
Anutin will take this opportunity to present his visions and Thailand’s economic potential to the global community, focusing on boosting international confidence, expanding trade and investment opportunities, and sustainably enhancing Thailand’s role in the Asia-Pacific region.
