OF the nationwide tally of 7,960 Covid-19 cases and 53 deaths today (Nov. 7), Bangkok’s total was 529 with infections spread across all 50 districts and 19 cases still being followed up, Siam Rath newspaper said.
The top 10 districts with the most infections are as follows:
1) Bang Phlat, 56 cases;
2) Bang Sue, 33 cases;
3) Rat Burana, 30 cases;
4) Saimai, 27 cases;
5) Bang Khae, 26 cases;
6) Bang Khen, 24 cases;
7) Chomthong, 18 people;
8) Khan Na Yao, 16 cases;
9) Bang Khun Thian, 15 cases;
10) Bangbon, 14 cases.
The two districts with the least cases of infection were Bang Rak and Huai Khwang, with one new patient each.
Meanwhile of the national total of 7,960 cases today 7,307 emerged in surveillance and healthcare systems, 215 were found through proactive search in communities, 427 fell sick in prisons and detention centres while 11 foreign arrivals tested positive for infection.
This takes the cumulative confirmed total since April 1 to 1,939,136 cases.
Another 6,950 patients were cured taking total recoveries since April to 1,822,542 while 98,367 are still undergoing treatment.
