836 new coronavirus cases pushing total to 19,618 

THAILAND logged 836 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours to this morning (Feb. 1) with this taking the cumulative confirmed cases to 19,618, Sanook.com reported.

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration’s (CCSA’s) assistant spokeswoman Dr. Apisamai Srirangsan said at 11.30 a.m. that of this total, 12,514 patients have been released from hospital while 7,027 are still undergoing treatment.

There were no additional deaths with the toll staying stationary at 77.

Details of 836 new Covid-19 cases are as follows:

– Altogether 39 new patients emerged from surveillance and service systems; 

– A total of 793 patients found through proactive search in communities;

– Four overseas travellers arrived and have entered state quarantine.
