THE Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration’s (CCSA’s) spokeswoman Apisamai Srisangson said at 11.30 a.m. today (Jan. 28) that there were 756 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours but no additional death with the toll staying stationary at 76, Sanook.com reported.
This takes the total cumulative confirmed cases to 16,221 with 11,287 having recovered while 4,858 are still under treatment.
Details of the today’s 756 cases are as follows:
The 22 new cases that emerged through surveillance and service systems were found in the following provinces:
– Samut Sakhon 9 patients;
– Bangkok 8 patients;
– Nonthaburi 1 patient;
– Ayutthaya 1 patient;
– Samut Prakan 3 patients.
Proactive search within communities found 724 cases.
There were ten persons who arrived from overseas and have entered state quarantine.
