AS Bangkok’s 29th Covid-19 patient had visited Metropolitan Waterworks Authority’s (MWA’s) Phra Khanong office on December 21, with this being in the same building as the temporary Sukhumvit branch, people who came in on that day have been told to watch their symptoms for this deadly disease, Siam Rath newspaper reported this afternoon (Dec. 28, 2020).
MWA has shut down both offices from noon today till Thursday December 30 for thorough cleaning and disinfection.
Employees at both offices, especially those stationed at payment counters, have been ordered to stop working and watch their symptoms for 14 days, notifying the authorities if they fell sick.
MWA confirmed that it will not be cutting water supply to its Phra Khanong and Sukhumvit clients with those who want more information told to either contact the MWA call centre at 1125, reach the agency via Line @ mwathailand and MWA mobile phone application all 24 hours.
