PRIME Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha refused to comment on more than half Palang Pracharath Party executive directors resigning today (June 1) with this leading to party leader Uttama Savanayana, secretary-general Sontirat Sontijirawong and all current executive directors vacating their positions, Sanook.com reported.
Gen Prayut was questioned by the Press about this group resignation and whether it would affect the Cabinet at Government House just as he was going to attend a meeting of the Natural Rubber Policy Committee but he simply pointed his hand towards the meeting room.
Earlier today the party’s deputy leader Paiboon Nititawan announced that 18 executive directors of the party had resigned with immediate effect with this leading to the current executive committee, consisting of 34 persons, also immediately ceasing to exist.
