A FINNISH woman filed a complaint with Pattaya police today (Oct. 29) that a thief broke into their rented house in Pattaya and stole $2,000 while she was out with her family for a meal, Naewna newspaper said.
Ms. Sini (surname withheld) and her older sister told Pol. Lt. Anan Mahakit-asawakul, deputy investigation officer at the Pattaya City police station, that the thief stole the money from a house in Soi Jomtien 7 where she was staying with her family.
She had taken her family out to eat but upon returning found that the cash was missing. She asked others in the house but did not find it and does not know how the thief was able to break into their home.
Pol. Lt Anan coordinated with police investigators to search for clues and verify the facts so as to quickly catch the thief.
