A TOWER crane suddenly collapsed at a construction site in On Nut Soi 86 at 2.20 p.m. today (July 2) killing two persons and injuring three others, Naewna newspaper and Thai News Agency said.
The tower crane, which can carry a 12-tonne load and stretches 70 metres while being 20 metres high, fell on a cement truck and a site office.
Rescuers quickly took the three injured persons to Sirinthorn Hospital.
