THAI police have found out that a Yakuza gang leader had ordered the murder of a Japanese man, who was his subordinate, with his body parts discarded in secluded alleys in Nonthaburi, Naewna newspaper said this afternoon (Apr. 24).

The abandoned warehouse where the victim was dismembered is just 500 metres away from spots where his body parts were found.

A Thai man, only identified as Mr. Game, 34, was questioned by police last evening and he related that he was told to drive a white sedan for three Japanese men to this warehouse with the victim sitting in front with him and the other two behind. Along the way the three of them quarrelled fiercely.

Upon reaching and parking the car in front of the warehouse,  he was told to step out for a while which he did and while smoking he heard a gunshot go off. Upon opening the car door he saw that the man sitting in front with him had been shot dead.

The two Japanese men took his body inside and after dismembering and placing the body parts in black plastic bags, brought it back to the vehicle and told him to dump them, which he did.

He has been charged with colluding in hiding, moving and destroying a dead body and concealing the cause of death.

After ascertaining that the deceased and the perpetrators were Japanese, Thai police asked their Japanese counterparts for further information.

They found out that all three were members of a Japanese Yakuza gang. One of the killers is the deputy leader of this Yakuza gang and had come to Thailand many years ago with there being a red notice for his arrest and his visa revoked in 2022.

Police suspect that the deceased man, who had just arrived in Thailand, had violated this Yakuza gang’s rules with the leader then ordering his death.

This abandoned warehouse has been built on approximately 100 square metres of land with the gate locked. A white sedan with no licence plate was found parked in front of it. A shovel,  of the same type and colour found near the body parts was found resting against the wall.

Mr. Reuchakorn, 28, a painter who lives near the warehouse, said previously this warehouse was rented out to a furniture maker who employed six to seven workers, but they moved out several months ago.

He also said he has never seen the white sedan before and people have been coming to this warehouse but he did not know who they were.

He added that he heard a sound that seemed to be a gunshot but was not sure it was one because rice farmers in this area do let off firecrackers to chase away the birds.
