TWO SISTERS returning from a Carabao charity concert in Prachinburi province at around 3 a.m. this morning (Dec. 14) were killed instantly with their bodies cut in half after a Mercedes Benz sedan slammed into their motorcycle, Naewna newspaper said.
Pol. Capt. Chaiyong Amphansen, deputy inspector at Kabinburi police station, quickly sent Satcha Putthatham Foundation rescuers to the accident spot where the sedan driver, Mr. Nopparat (surname withheld), 46, was seriously injured and immediately rushed to Nadi Hospital.
The motorcycle was completely smashed with the bodies of the two sisters, Ms. Suwanna, 43, and Ms. Prathanphon, 37, horrifically dismembered.
It was reported that the two sisters were returning from the charity concert with their home just 10 metres away from the accident spot. The sedan came at high speed from the opposite direction and slammed into their motorbike instantly killing them.
The luxury sedan had then crashed through a wall of Ban Khok Udom post office, somersaulted and flipped over badly injuring the driver.
