Thai politicians urged to keep a distance from X

A NEWS programme host and human rights activist urged Thai politicians to not spend too much time on social media platform X because in her opinion there are too many crazy people there, Naewna newspaper said this afternoon (Sep. 21).

Ms. Nuttaa Mahattana said in her Facebook post that if politicians pay too much attention to trending posts on X it would only lead to them being inattentive and having to apologise for issues that they are not at fault in the first place because they cannot stand being attacked.

Moreover they do not dare to defend their standpoints because they are afraid of losing likes from the “zombie horde.”

Should they share posts only to gain popularity with this harming the communication culture this then will eventually return to stab them, she said, adding many politicians should have learnt a lesson but nothing has changed.
