PHEU THAI leader Paetongtarn Shinawatra, daughter of de facto party boss Thaksin Shinawatra who was released on parole early this morning (Feb. 18), shared a photo of him sitting in the sun by the swimming pool at his Chan Song Lah residence this afternoon, Naewna newspaper and Amarin TV said.
In a message accompanying this photo shared on Instagram, she wrote: “After not getting to enjoy the weather and sunshine for 180 days, and not returning home for 17 years … dad came out and sat beside me outside like this #Finally home.”
This post attracted a lot of comments such as “I love Thaksin, tears are flowing,” and “I am happy for him and everyone, I love Thaksin.”
However others mentioned that when he entered Police Hospital he did not wear a neck support nor was his right arm in a sling so why has he come out wearing them.
