Small plane crashes in Chonburi, foreigner dead

A SMALL airplane crashed in Chonburi this morning (Jan. 13) with one unidentified foreigner having died and another person injured, Matichon newspaper said.

The light aircraft crashed near Huai Yai temple, Huai Yai subdistrict, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi province.

A police team from Huai Yai station quickly rushed there and found that of the two persons on the small plane, the foreigner had died while rescuers quickly took the other injured person to the hospital.

Police and other officials are currently investigating the scene of the crash.
