PATTAYA police and rescuers rushed to a well-known hotel at Jomtien beach early this morning (June 7) after being informed of a young British man having fallen to his death there, Sanook.com said.
At the eight-storey hotel, Pol. Col. Nattapon Saengsee from Dong Tan police station and his team, including rescuers from Sawang Boriboon Foundation and a duty doctor from Bang Lamung Hospital, found the body of the British man, later identified as Mr Callum Lewis, 20, lying dead in a pool of blood on the ground next to the fire escape.
Police collected evidence and took photos after which they sent his body to the Police Hospital for autopsy.
The deceased man was staying in a room on the fifth floor and police are checking surveillance camera clips to determine which floor he fell from and the circumstances of his death.
